KCCI is the short form of “Kishtwar Catalog The Computer Institute & Information Technologies Education Cooperative Limited” KCCI is a Non-Government organization working not only in Kishtwar town but also in the rest of the Kishtwar District. KCCI was founded in the Year 2004 Inaugurated by Mr.Rakesh Kumar Sharvan (KAS).It was formerly known as Catalog Computer Institute Kishtwar, after the gap of two year its name was changed. Now the new name of the organization is Kishtwar Catalog The Computer Institute & I.T's. Education Cooperative limited.

The objective of KCCI is to provide best computer education along with the latest job oriented/ Professional courses with the lowest fee structure in Kishtwar town.

KCCI is fully registered organization under Co-Operative Society, Directorate of Industries J&K Govt., Jammu & Kashmir Shop & Establishment Act. 1966. And also Registered VTP Centre under Govt. of India

Currently the organization is also involved in various educational & social welfare programs including the work of Human Resource Development and the Welfare Department of Indian Government. KCCI also contribute in various educational programs of different parts in Kishtwar District. Every year KCCI organizes the awards for the outstanding performances in the field of Art, Education, Social Work & Sports. The organization also gives the scholarships for advance studies to the deserving Candidates through Social Welfare department. The organization also provides free education to Orphan, Poor and Handicapped students in the context of sweeping changes number of educational program are offered in computer Education, Information technology, Arts Commerce, Science and Education at Becholer and at Master level programmes.

Discussion organized in KCCI KISHTWAR

on the eve of 10^th annual day

Kishtwar Catalog Computer Institute organized a discussion on topic "Career oriented education and conflict in eductional transformation " in community hall of tourist reception centre kishtwar today on 9.12.14. Assistant commissioner revenue Mr. Sudarshan kumar salaria was the cheif guest on the occasion.
The programme started with the formal welcome addressed by the founder of the institute Mr. AJAZ Ahmed Kripak.
The discussion was organized on eve of the completion of the ten years of the institute in education sector various members of the civil society, parents and students participated in the programme.
the cheif guest in his address landed the role of the institute in importing the modern education among the student of this far flung area of the state and also appreciated the students who performed the musical program at the venue.
Assistant director Employment District Kishtwar Mr. Mohd Ashraf wani was the guest of houner in the programme. he intrected with the students and parents and discussed various aspects of the topic including the facilitates provided by Govt. and specially the department of employment to the students and unemployment youth. he also emphasises the importance of the carrer oriented education and the course offered by the institute.

the conclusion of the discussion remained around the career counselling, awareness regarding various courses and departments of the Govt which provide various facilities for upliftment of the poor section of students in the modern era.

Musical programme was presented by Sajjad Butt and group, the students of the institute and at last vote of thanks was presented by Director of the institute Mrs. Shahida Parveen.
